Administrative Assistant

Job Description

The Sacramento Asian Sports Foundation (SASF) is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual for the position of Administrative Assistant. The Administrative Assistant will help the organization in managing daily administrative duties and responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be a hard working professional able to undertake a variety of office support detail and discretion as well as incorporating new and effective ways to achieve better results. This is a part time position, Monday - Friday.

Responsibilities

  • Organize office and assist associations in ways that optimize procedures
  • Manage and distribute communications in a timely manner
  • Schedule and plan meetings and appointments
  • Manage and maintain a weekly, monthly, and yearly events calendar
  • Monitor level of supplies and handle shortages
  • Light bookkeeping and invoicing duties
  • Assist in managing employee payroll
  • Resolve office-related malfunctions and respond to requests or issues
  • Coordinate with managers to ensure compliance with established policies
  • Maintain trusting relationships with suppliers, customers, and colleagues
  • Perform receptionist duties when needed

Qualifications

  • Proven experiences as an office assistant or other relevant administrative role
  • Working knowledge of office equipment
  • Thorough understanding of office management procedures
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Analytical abilities and aptitude in problem solving
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office
