SASF Crab Feed Sponsors and Prizes Needed
We're excited for the 2026 SASF Crab Feed on Saturday, February 28, 2026! This beloved community event brings friends, families, and supporters together for an unforgettable evening of delicious Asian-inspired crab, great company, and spirited fundraising—all while supporting SASF's youth and community programs.
To make this year's Crab Feed even more impactful, we need your help! We're currently seeking:
Sponsors
Partnering with SASF as a sponsor is a great way to show your support while gaining visibility within our community. Sponsorships help fund event operations and enhance the experience for all attendees. A big thank you for a recent donation we received of $25,000, and to NovoMed Concierge Medicine, for sponsoring at the Silver level!
Raffle Prize Donations
Raffle prizes are a highlight of the evening and help drive excitement and fundraising. We're collecting items, experiences, gift certificates, baskets, and other fun prizes that attendees will love.
Every donation and sponsor commitment—large or small—helps us deliver a richer experience and raise more funds for our mission. Last year's Crab Feed sold out and raised significant support for youth programs, thanks to community generosity!

From Ceiling to Floor: SASF Kitchen Refresh
We would like to recognize the SASF staff for their outstanding work in completing a comprehensive deep cleaning of the kitchen. Over the past several weeks, led by Evan and Julie, staff members dedicated themselves to wiping, scrubbing, sweeping, mopping, disinfecting, painting, and dusting every inch of the space from ceiling to floor. Both supply closets were also thoroughly cleaned.
As a result of their hard work and attention to detail, the floors, walls, doors, equipment, surfaces, and sinks now look noticeably transformed. This effort not only improved the appearance of the space, but also reinforced our commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for everyone who uses the facility. We are incredibly grateful for the teamwork, pride, dedication, and care shown throughout this project.
Back on the Dance Floor: Ballroom Dancing Returns
We're excited to share a special highlight we couldn't let pass without recognition—SASF recently hosted a ballroom dancing fundraiser, marking the first time this event has returned since the COVID-19 pandemic. It was truly uplifting to see our space filled once again with music, movement, and community connection.
The evening brought together dancers and supporters of all levels for a fun and energizing experience, and the photos capture just how meaningful it was to see everyone back on the dance floor. Events like this remind us how powerful it is to gather, celebrate, and support SASF's mission together.
Due to the enthusiasm and positive response, we're already looking ahead and hope to host a line dancing fundraiser this fall. We're excited to continue creating opportunities for our community to come together, stay active, and have fun—while supporting youth and community programs.
Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make this event such a success. We can't wait to dance with you again soon!

"I grew up in this program, first in summer basketball league and giving back as a basketball coach and referee. This organization does so much for the communities of Sacramento and Elk Grove. Their dedication to youth development through sports and leadership programs include teen women empowerment, a talent show completely organized by youth, and basketball, ages 7-18. They have added new programs to address teen mental health, and sports programs and a fishing derby for special needs youth. Pickleball for Seniors continues to grow by leaps and bounds. An anticipated program with SMUD includes classes on the use of modern and efficient kitchen equipment."
"Join me and my friends who participated in SASF programs and are now giving back in different ways. Donate via the PG&E YourCause website using the Guest option."
