COVID-19 UPDATE
We are anticipating state and local health restrictions will change after June 15, 2021. SASF will continue to follow health guidelines as directed. For the health and safety of our patrons, volunteers, and staff, SASF will continue to practice the following procedures:
- Social distancing in all commonly shared areas.
- Sanitizing of the facility before, during, and after each event.
- Mask wearing is recommended inside the facility and will be optional based on updated health guidelines.
The number of participants (occupancy) may be restricted based on the type of event. The maximum number of large events will be limited to 550 guests.

$33K RAISED DURING THE BIG DAY OF GIVING
Thanks to you, our largest fundraiser of the year raised over $33,000 on the Big Day of Giving (BDOG)! We are proud to report that we were able to surpass last year’s BDOG fundraising efforts. Even more impressive is that although the BDOG reported that the average donation for all non-profits was under $50, SASF’s average donation was $175! This is an incredible tribute to the generosity and resilience of our community after an extremely challenging year. We cannot thank you enough! SMALL BUSINESS SATURDAY FOOD & CRAFT FAIR AT SASF!
Strive for Strength (S4S) is partnering with The Creative Space to host a Small Business Saturday Food and Craft Fair! Owned and operated by Jennifer Tokunaga and her sister, S4S graduate Remy Tokunaga, The Creative Space is a new small business event space in Midtown that hosts creative classes/workshops, private events, and small business pop-ups. On May 29, 2021 there will be over 60 small business vendors from all over NorCal selling products such as home décor, apparel, crafts, food, and so much more! A portion of the proceeds from this event will benefit S4S.
YOUTH BASKETBALL RETURNING!
Youth basketball will be returning in the fall! Program details are still being worked out but continue to check our website for registration information regarding our fall program. For up-to-date information, follow us on our social media pages.
