As Seen on Good Day Sacramento — Now Join the SASF Story!

We're still excited from our recent appearance on Good Day Sacramento, where we had the opportunity to showcase SASF's newly converted all-electric kitchen!

The segment highlighted an exciting milestone for our organization and the continued growth of the Sacramento Asian Sports Foundation. But behind every program, event, and improvement at SASF is something even more important: our community.

SASF is powered by people who give their time, talents, ideas, and energy to help create opportunities for others. As we continue to grow and serve our community, we are looking for passionate individuals who want to be part of what's next

Volunteer With Us

Whether you can help at an event, support one of our programs, share a professional skill, or simply lend a hand when needed, there are many ways to make a difference at SASF. Volunteers play an important role in helping us create meaningful experiences and keep our community connected.

Join Our Board

We are also looking for individuals interested in serving on the SASF Board of Directors. If you are passionate about community, youth, sports, culture, or giving back, serving on the board is an opportunity to help shape the future of SASF and make a lasting impact.

Watch our Good Day Sacramento segment and see what SASF is building for our community. Then, consider becoming part of the story.

Interested in volunteering or learning more about serving on the SASF Board? We would love to hear from you!

Together, we can continue building a stronger community—one program, event, connection, and opportunity at a time.

A Night of Dancing, Community, and Giving Back

On behalf of the organizers of the SASF Ballroom and Line Dancing Night, we would like to thank you for participating and supporting this event. Your registration fee went as a donation to SASF's Sports for Life program that allows those who have neurological disabilities to participate in sports.

Just as we have grown to love sports such as pickleball or basketball, SASF is providing the opportunity to those with special needs to also participate among kids like themselves.

This is a program unique to SASF and without your support, it could not exist. We would like to thank organizer and DJ, Henry Lim and Southern California’s guest line dancing instructor, Selina Chi.

Lastly, thank you to the dedicated volunteers from SASF and Sports for Life. We would also like to acknowledge the following families, businesses and people who have generously donated to this event to ensure its success.

Basic Hoops Recap

SASF's Basic Hoops Camp was another great success! This year, we welcomed over 60 campers and 40 volunteer coaches for a fun-filled week of basketball and learning. Our campers ranged from Kindergarten through 3rd grade, so for many of them, it was their very first experience playing basketball.

Throughout the week, campers learned the fundamentals of the game, including dribbling, shooting, passing, and defense. Beyond developing their basketball skills, the camp provided a fun and supportive environment where campers could build confidence, make new friends, and develop a love for the game.

We are incredibly grateful to all of our volunteer coaches who donated their time and energy to make the camp possible. Their enthusiasm and encouragement helped make this year’s Basic Hoops Camp one to remember!

Summer League Wraps Up Another Great Season!

What a summer! Throughout the month of July, SASF was filled with an amazing, competitive atmosphere, with plenty of excitement, laughter, and smiles filling the gym. Our players competed hard every time they stepped onto the court, but just as importantly, they had even more fun off the court spending time with teammates and friends and creating memories that went well beyond the final score. That combination of competition, sportsmanship, friendship, and community is what SASF Summer League is all about!

The Boys Division Championship gave us one of the most exciting finishes of the summer! Team 7 – PINK captured the championship in an overtime thriller, battling all the way to the final buzzer.

Congratulations to Team 7 - PINK: Coaches: Sydney, Justin, Lucas, Mackenzie, and Jacob. Players: Koa, Liam, Dennis, Kashton, Shane, Chandler, Michael, Hikaru, Elliot, and Landon.

In the Girls Division, Team 1 - ROYAL BLUE put together a fantastic season and finished it off by bringing home the championship!

Congratulations to Team 1 - ROYAL BLUE: Coaches: Keala, Rylan, Sophia. Players: Gracie, Isla, Ipolei, Isra, Neda, Layla, Anniston, Bria, Melissa, Mila, and Ellie

While we celebrate our champions, we are incredibly proud of every player who stepped onto the court this summer. We are incredibly thankful to our coaches, volunteers, families, referees, concession stand crews, and everyone who came out each week to cheer on our young athletes. Your support and involvement are what make Summer League such a special part of our community.

Congratulations to our champions and to all of our players on another great season. We hope to see everyone back on the court next summer!

Thank You for Your Generous Support

We are extremely grateful to the many individuals, families and businesses who continue to support and donate to SASF throughout the year.
