Basic Hoops started with the goal of introducing basketball in a fun and supportive environment. With the help of SASF, the camp continues to deliver on this goal 20 years later.
The campers, ranging from kindergarten to third grade, are taught the fundamentals of basketball in a fun and engaging way. During the week-long course campers will learn how to dribble, pass, shoot, and play defense.
2026 Basic Hoops Clinic
Dates: August 3 - August 6, 2026
Time: 6:00pm - 7:30pm
Location: Sacramento Asian Sports Foundation, 9040 High Tech Court, Elk Grove, CA 95758
Ages: Kindergarten through 3rd Grade (in Fall 2026)
Cost: $75/camper. Payment is required at registration. No refunds will be provided.
Capacity: The clinic can accomodate a maximum of 60 campers.
All campers must provide their own basketball (size 27.5" or 28.5").
