Paradyme Car Audio

Proudly serving Sacramento since 1978, Paradyme Car Audio on Fulton Avenue just north of Arden Way is the destination for car and truck audio. “Staff greeted me with a warm smile and were helpful from the first step into the store. Eric recommends Paradyme "without reservation; definitely check-out these guys." Full-service is their byline, with a service department and other specialized products -- alarms, specialized speaker setups and a comparative listening experience.

Dr. James Delgadillo & Dr. Jeffrey Delgadillo

After a decade plus, Dr. James Delgadillo, emergency physician, and Dr. Jeffrey Delgadillo, Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon, are back in Sac and giving back the love they received. They remember being at the 2007 groundbreaking of the SASF gym, playing on SJUMC, the summer league, and later were referees: "Coach Robert Fong believed in us and gave us the opportunity to be part of the SASF Basketball community." Those wonderful times gave lessons of passion, dedication, teamwork, and camaraderie that helped them get through 15 years of medical and dental education and residency training.

Jeffrey returned in the Summer of 2022 and is now a partner at Heise, Alpha & Delgadillo OMS in downtown Sacramento. James is an attending physician at the Sacramento VA Medical Center, and also took over a family medicine primary care clinic, Capitol Family Medical, and is working with our very own Dr. Peter Din who joined the practice in fall of 2022. Their youngest brother Joseph with a Master's Degree in business management and operations, will soon be returning to Sacramento to open a state-of-the-art soccer training facility. Together the Delgadillo brothers have developed a unique skillset with the motivation and passion to give back to the Sacramento community. "It took us a while to make it back home, and SASF is a part of our home. Coming from a culture that is community based, we are excited to give back to the community that nurtured our growth and ambitions to help others."

Sutter Health

Sutter’s mission focuses beyond the walls of their care facilities and out into the community. Community-based services, mobile clinics, transportation services, and prevention and wellness programs are among the ways Sutter Health seeks to put its “mission into action.” SASF and Sutter met in early 2019, and with our focus on youth programs, zeroed in on teen mental health, a cornerstone of their outreach and funding. Our Teen Mental Health & Resiliency Program emerged and was set to launch an ambitious one-day event in late March 2020, but was derailed by Covid. In the ensuing years, SASF put on zoom programs featuring the film Angst; Ghosted, a film and workshop by Kaiser Permanente’s Educational Theatre; an ensemble performance by One Degree of Separation; and, in October 2022, Parent-Child Communication by CHIPAO, founded by faculty, staff and students in the Stanford Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences.

Hawaiian Airlines

SASF learned about Hawaiian Airlines Team Kokua Program. Our youth programs and cultural fares aligned with their program focus on supporting communities in the areas of culture, education, environment, and health & human services. Team Kokua gives in a variety of ways including service volunteers, Hawaiian Miles or cash donations. The application required an employee sponsor. Fortunately, Captain Torin Ching agreed to be our sponsor. After reviewing our website, Torin said: "As a University of San Francisco alumni and former Division 1 tennis athlete, I fully support any youth sports programs and development. SASF offers a wide range of sports and activities including Pickleball. I’ve recently transitioned to this highly addictive Pickleball game and continue to compete in tournaments here in Hawaii and the mainland." As they say in Hawaii, "IMUA, let’s go forward." Thank you, Torin, and Hawaiian Airlines.

Don Lee

Don Lee is currently an SASF Director and was one of seven Founding Directors who had the dream to build a gym for the youth in Sacramento back in 1993. The group used the “crabfeed” as a vehicle to raise money needed to build their dream. The first crabfeed was held at Confucius Temple in Sacramento and Don has since carried the rein for the past 28 years as one of SASF major fundraisers.

His donation of the In-Home crab dinner has been a popular auction item since we opened our community center in 2007.

The In-Home crab dinner is for 10 to 12 people, and includes Asian Style Crab, Salt and Pepper Shrimp, Potstickers or Lumpia, Asian Salad, Fried Rice, Shrimp Chips, and Dessert.
